The build #0.7.0.0 of AutoCAD .Net Addin Wizard (AcadNetAddinWizard) has been rolled out and provided a few new features. The AutoCAD AppPlugins Locator widget is one of them.
It can find the AutoCAD AppPlugins (or the fancy name AutoLoader) folder of either the Current User or All Users through one click or two.
If the Current User is selected, a folder like the following will be opened in the Windows Explorer.
C:\Users\<Me>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins
If the All Users is selected instead, the folder will be:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins
The leading edge AutoCAD .NET Addin Wizard (AcadNetAddinWizard) provides various project wizards, item wizards, coders to help program AutoCAD .NET addins.
Hi, I am unable to find the toolbar mentioned in this post or the tools menu mentioned in other posts. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Please right click mouse on the Visual Studio toolbar and you will find the AutoCAD .NET Addin Wizard item. Checking it will make the toolbar show up.
In terms of the same item in the Tools menu, it was provided before but now it is not supported anymore.

Thank you for the reply. Yes I have tried that, but only see the standard toolbars. I am using 2010 Express. I have tried a repair on the install, but no change. I am able to use the new project wizard and the new item wizards, just no toolbars. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Ah, did not realize you were using Visual Studio 2010 Express.
I believe the VSE intentionaly prevents the AcadNetAddinWizard toolbars and all other third party ones from being loaded properly and showing up. That should be what the 'Express' indicates. Cannot think of a better way other than switching to the full fledge Visual Stuio so as to utilize all the cool features of AutoCAD .NET Addin Wizard.

OK, wasn't sure since I had read the add in works with Express edition, but I understand that not everything might work. I guess I don't get to find out what the coders do :(
Thanks anyhow.

The AcadNetAddinWizard tried its best to support both Visual Studio 2008 and 2010, both full fledge and Express as mentioned in many posts, but as you found out, the VSE does not support third party toolbars at all and that caused our widgets and coders not get a chance to show up or be exercised.
